I just realized that I haven't updated this little bio of mine in around a year, and a lot has changed since then. I'm a freshman now, which, while young, isn't all that bad. At the very least, I'm well internet mannered for my age ground and, you know, can actually type.
I find that my art just keeps improving, and it really shows lately, considering I've been using GIMP to edit this stuff and my scanner to put it on my computer. I'm kind of embarassed about my earlier work.

It's clear at the very least to me that my style is evolving, but it keeps that comical, almost childish aspect that I like about it.
None of my stuff is a masterpiece, and I don't want it to be that way. I like being simple, because that's the just kind of artwork I find I'm most fond of. I'm just a casual artist, but I like the way I draw, because I feel it's a reflection of the sort of person I am. Regardless, I still hope people like my work, even if it isn't the Mona Lisa.

Regardless, I never quite feel satisfied with it, because I know I'm just going to look back at it a few months later and say, "Man, that drawing looks like crap!" I find that these days, I tend to do that quite a bit.
Now, about myself, I'm pretty heavy into manga, anime and video games these days, but I've been neglecting video games lately because, well, anime and manga get expensive, and it often becomes a matter of one or the other. I'm someone who buys stuff legally as opposed to simply downloading it off the internet like the rest of the fandom does. I support my obsessions with both my heart and my wallet.
My own artwork shows shades of this I think, but my all time favorite series for anime/manga would have to be Dragon Ball. Yes, it's an old series, yes, it's often cliche and simplistic, but it's a good show nonetheless. Well, my general opinon is that it is if you're watching it subbed, or reading the manga, but Kai's dub is fine with me too.
Lately I've been getting into a few other things, most prominently Death Note and Hetalia. Cherryclaw's been introducing me to a lot of new stuff as of late, but it reminds me how much I'd love to go back and read or watch some older series like Ruroni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho. I haven't seen either in ages, so perhaps I'll get around to that at some point. Though right now, my focus is probably going to be One Piece, since I just found out that FUNimation streams it for free.
As far as video games go, I'm really a JRPG person, with Pokemon often taking the forefront of that. But lately, I just haven't felt that much into the series for one reason or another. Perhaps it's just been going on too long. But a lot of other things interest me, and my current obsession seem to be the Dragon Quest series.
As for what else I do, I write a little bit of fanfiction on the side, and post that up on FFN, so you can find me there. Other than that, I really don't have that much else to plug. Here's to hoping you enjoy my stuff. ^_~
